Secrets #Poem

This is a poem I wrote last year

Secrets

We all hide something,
It is human nature.
We can’t run away,
It also never dies.

Where is this kept secret?
So safely tucked far away, snugged
How do we find this secret?
So deeply buried in grey, drugged

Ahh!
It differs from man to man,
Some hid it in beers, others in art,
Some in jeers, others with a can,

Where’s mine, you ask?
The answer, my heart.

Some people hide it with passion,
Like they'd die if it was free.
But secrets will consume you,
They won't know which them to be.

Keep and suffer,
They said.
Keep and suffer.
I fret.

Everyone has a secret,
They hope it is drained.
But secrets never go,
You are forever chained.
